Reflections on a year of making the Podcast

We are now 1 year into this journey to create and maintain a professional podcast covering history, politics, and religion, and specifically to expose topics that we may have learned and forgotten, or perhaps never learned at all.  The history that we learn in school is typically very generalized and superficial.  The true history of events, however, is often very rich and nuanced; and that is what we try to cover here, in all of its intricate detail.  Our target audience is the "lifetime learner" out there, who (like us) wants more than the grade school textbooks can provide.  We have learned a great deal together in the course of this last year; and we look forward to many more years of learning together.  Thanks to our hosts, Marshall, Mike, and Blake, and especially to our producer and sound engineer, Brooks.  We could not do this without you.
